I know there have been no new episodes of the podcast or even updates to the site in a long, long while and I feel I owe you an explanation.
Last year my wife Vanessa had a stroke, taking care of her and our home ate up my time and there was no time for any kind of writing at all.
She recovered and even went back to work, my creativity returned and I started working on new episodes and stories. I really expected to have a new series of episodes ready to go in October.
But then Vanessa’s Crohn’s disease started kicking in again. She got weaker and weaker and had to be hospitalized. Then a few days later she had one possibly two major strokes,
Then a seizure. She had to be airlifted to smother hospital.
Since then she has made neurological recovery but her arm and leg are seeing paralysis.
To top that off the Chron’s meds and stroke meds are working against each other so the doctors are worrying they will have to take out her colon.
So as you can imagine time and creativity are at a minimum again and I do not know how long it will take things to get back to normal again.
Whatever our new normal is going to be now.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
